Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal
With my passion for connecting with audiences for more than 20 years, I have been a lead guitarist for the platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated Trans-Siberian Orchestra. In addition, I have performed with Cher, Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple, Rainbow), Marc Martel's Ultimate Queen Celebration, DD Verni (Overkill), Metal Church, and many other talented artists.
New Age, World, and Instrumental
While on tour supporting the Naked Sun's 1993 release "Wonder Drug," I was tapped by the legendary New Age kingpin Kitaro to help complete his forthcoming release "Mandala" and subsequent world tour. This experience was the starting point of an extraordinary musical friendship I cherish. I worked with Kitaro on four of his albums, each earning a Grammy nomination in the "Best New Age Album" category.
During my time working with Kitaro, I toured the world by participating in concerts in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, China, and Europe. The schedule included performances in some of the world's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall.
During this period, I also had the opportunity to collaborate with Tibetan flutist Nawang Khechog and keyboardist Peter Kater in the performance of their "Primordial Rock Celebration" at the Tibetan Freedom Concert at RFK Stadium in 1999, which had over 75,000 people in attendance.
In 2007, I was approached by Jethro Tull's lead violinist Anna Phoebe to collaborate on instrumental material for her debut solo release. I contributed both as a guitarist and co-writer on her debut solo album "Gypsy," which had a unique mix of Celtic and Eastern influences. The tracks on that album were subsequently performed by Jethro Tull while on tour.
Broadway
My experience on Broadway was as a regular in the Tony-nominated Broadway production of "Rock of Ages" for most of its decade-long run at both the Brooks Atkinson and Helen Hayes theaters. I also had the pleasure of playing in the pit on Andrew Lloyd Weber's "School of Rock" at the Winter Garden.
